Monthly Favorites - August 2017
It's been a few weeks... whoops! My first week of senior year was a little more overwhelming than I imagined it would be but the blogger is back. Am I too late for August favorites since it's now September? Maybe, but you guys know how it goes... these were my Top 10 for the month. Feel free to share yours in the comments below!
- Matthew 28:20 "...I am with you always, even until the end of the age." This has been the verse to carry me through these last few weeks when it seems like everything around me is chaotic.
- God is greater than the highs and the lows - tshirt from Kaelin and Kyrah (YouTubers) who came out with some awesome merchandise... check it out at kaelinandkyrah.com
- Popsocket phone accessory - I've seen these on everyone's phone lately and I was a little skeptical but I got mine from Target for $10 and I've enjoyed it ever since I got it. It's easier to hold your phone and take steady pictures.
- DesiXKaty Mirame Highlighter - does this even need a description??? Dose of Colors did the best collaboration with Desi and Katy and my goodness... the glow is real! It's currently sold out on doseofcolors.com but they will be restocking this month, get it before it goes again!
- Song of the Month: I can't even pick one song but Daniel Caesar's album "Freudian" is just full of goodies, has anyone listened to him yet? If you haven't, download it and thank me later.
- Favorite App: Stack is a game that's super simple but really addicting. Just tap on the screen to try and stack the blocks perfectly before they topple over.
- Favorite YouTuber: AsCEDbyMe - NFL player Cedric and his wife Charlotte are a young Christian couple vlogging their journey with their newest addition, baby Madeline.
- Nails: Gelish in the color Primrose and Proper - very neutral blush pink.
- Old Navy jeans - they have so many styles but my favorite part is that their jeans come in regular, tall/long, and short. Their prices are pretty reasonable and they usually have some kind of sale. (Tall girls unite!)
- Neutrogena Oil Free Moisturizer - I get the sensitive skin one but I love this stuff. Hydrating but not greasy and that's exactly what I need.
